Maple Syrup Machine

Ever since Pete was a kid, he was making maple syrup on the farm. Pete’s parents gathered the sap and had epic parties to boil it down. Last year, we decided to keep the tradition going and made a crude boiling stove. It was better than the old days but still had plenty of room for improvement.

This year, we invested in a new, state-of-the-art syrup-making machine. We are crossing our fingers for it to arrive when the sap starts flowing. This date fluctuates; last year, the season started early, around mid-February, so we'll see what 2022 brings!
