We are passionate about growing, harvesting, preparing, and eating good food. Simple ingredients and the freshest produce are our winning formula. Last night we cooked tomatoes, green beans, garlic, eggplant, and peppers (you know, the stuff in your crate). Spray a little olive oil on them, with salt and pepper and some garlic. Roast them until they are almost charred, and then pop them in a plastic bag while you prepare some Farfalle pasta. Toss all the ingredients with a little pesto (Plus members should have some in their freezer) , olive oil and fresh grated parmesan and fresh-ground pepper and some salt too. WOW! What a treat. Easy. Nutritious. Delicious.

Another tip this week - take the basil sprigs you have been receiving each week and put the stems in a small glass of water. Your basil stays fresh for the whole week, so you’re always ready for a quick Caprese salad or a summery appetizer like this one.
