Homemade Granola

COOK TIME: 1 hr 15 min

We love granola. Whether we’re sprinkling it over our morning yogurt, mixing it with a fruit cup, or even just grabbing a handful for a snack, we can’t get enough. If you’re like us, you need this recipe. Mix together a few simple ingredients and bake, this easy recipe will keep you in the granola.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups rolled oats

  • ¼ cup oil

  • ¼ cup honey

  • ¼ cup maple syrup

  • Your choice of nuts and/or seeds

  • Optional: coconut flakes

  • salt to taste

Preheat oven to 250º

In a large bowl add oats and oil, mixing so oats are evenly coated. Next, add 1808 honey and maple syrup, mixing thoroughly between additions. Add nuts and/or seeds of your choice and mix again. Finally, add salt to taste – we also like adding shredded coconut for extra flavor and texture – and spread in a thin, even layer on baking sheet.

For crunchy granola, cook for 1 hr and 15 minutes, flipping the granola over about halfway through. You may want to flip it again about 20 min before finished. For chewier granola, cook for about 45 minutes, flipping halfway through and again 15 minutes before finished.

Store in an airtight container to keep fresh.
